Why is my boyfriend all the sudden trying to be a better man?

In the past we went though a lot of downs. In the relationship and in our personal lives. The past few weeks have been really really good. We’re not arguing to the extent like we were. He’s being more transparent. He even said he’s been more transparent with me then he’s ever been with any other girl (he’s proving his words right with actions). He’s being more affectionate with me especially after sex. Over all we’re just acting more mature. I just turned 23 and he’s 34 by the way. We’ve been together for about 7months now

Well there’s a couple reasons why this may be happening. One he’s genuinely changing, he realized the error of his ways. He realizes that if he doesn’t change he could lose you. Or there’s another girl. I say this because he maybe doing all this to make you happy to keep you off his case. That way you don’t get suspicious if that makes sense. Keep her happy so she’s not questions all these things like where you at. I’m getting you a surprise or flowers when he’s w his other squirrel. I hope this makes sense. It’s like when a man, not all the time but when a man is in a relationship and all of a sudden he wants to get in shape. Sometimes he’s doing it cause there’s another squirrel on his radar.
