I decided to shoot my shot and slid into a guy’s dms, we’ve never talked beforehand so it was scary but conversation went pretty well, he was funny, flirtatious and wouldn’t even take two minutes to respond back. He even asked me questions about my life but then he stopped replying… A few days after I posted an ig story and he complimented my eyes and made a little playful comment, I replied and he ignored me again. Is he trying to do some sort of push/pull? I’m confused as to why would he reply to my Instagram story if he wasn’t interested at all after that first conversation.

I think he is talking to you and other people and just exploring his dating life especially if the two of you are still in college. Also, Instagram is not serious. You should exchange numbers with him, befriend him and see where it goes.
