I told him someone asked for my number and then a day later he tells me someone asked for his number in less than 24 hours? He was annoyed at the fact someone asked for my number and he said he only gave his number out because I gave mine out which I didn’t and i explained that I hadn’t. Do you think he’s playing mind games. It was right after we hooked up as well he told me this the next day

Hmm that does seem a little suspicious on his part. A few possibilities:

- He could be jealous that someone expressed interest in you, so he fabricated a story about getting hit on too to make it seem like you're on "equal ground".

- Trying to make you think he's desirable so you don't lose interest in him now that you hooked up.

- Possibly playing mind games to test your reaction and see if you get jealous/competitive like he did.

The timing of it the day after being with you is odd too. If he really did get a number, why not just be chill and share the story later on?

I'd say trust your gut - it sounds like he might be trying to manipulate the situation a bit. I'd just play it cool for now but be cautious. Maybe pull back a little and see how he responds. Don't give him the satisfaction of knowing this is bothering you if he is playing games. Stay confident, sis!
