It's called putting you on the back burner. They probably have other girls they are way more interested in and want to see where that goes first. When that becomes a dead end or fizzles out for whatever reason, they suddenly remember you in their back pocket. I'd it's not other girls, then their schedules must be erratic or too busy to stay in touch. But honestly don't let anyone treat you as a last or second option. Find a guy who is 100% interested in yiu and will find the time to make time just to talk to you.
