I need some help. How does one know what a guys “signals” mean? I have no clue how to interpret anything?

Let me first start off with saying that I have a RBF. I don’t usually notice it but I’m sure others believe I am mean or intimidating. To cut to the chase, I started crushing on this guy. I have never really talked to him. I have had a couple convos and they were related to school stuff. What is really odd to me is the fact that we tend to make eye contact a lot. Once he was in close proximity to me and we made eye contact. He blushed but he didn’t smile or anything. The issue is, I know I have a resting bitch face and maybe he thinks that me looking at him maybe creeps him out and that the blushing response was out of anger or embarrassment. I am not ugly or anything and would consider myself to be attractive. Obviously, beauty lies on the eye of the beholder. Initially , I interpreted the eye contact as maybe mutual interest but now I’m second guessing myself. I am assuming that he made eye contact to see if I was looking at him (I tend to glance at people I find attractive…). I just need some clarification from guys who have maybe experienced this or can give me some sort of advice. I tend to get shy when it comes to initiating convos with someone I like but not with guys I’m not interested in. There are many situations I can add but there aren’t enough characters. Yes and no. It would come off as arrogant if I explicitly said I am attractive. I do find myself to be quite attractive in general. What I had in mind was this instance when a good friend of mine, who is quite attractive was told by a guy that she is "not his type". She is conventionally attractive. I am also referring to several instances where a guy is dating a girl, even though he is out of her league (and vice versa). I tend to analyze more than one factor since I tend to be an overthinker. you know what I mean?

He didn't blush due to being annoyed by you. Probably he felt shy. And because he is human, it's probable, also, that the "I am shy but not with people I don't like" is true for him, which means that, well... he may like you.

The only reason I was a bit confused about the blushing part, is the fact that people can 'blush' (or get very red) , when they are angry. So yeah, I am an overthinker.

but girls are much easier to read in my opinion (obviously biased since I am a girl). If I am making eye contact with a guy, I think this indicates some sort of interest on my side. I am not sure why guys always say that girls are not obvious when it comes to liking someone. I think it is pretty obvious (for the most part)

Not really, otherwise, I wouldn't have fucked any of the girls I did! My first only used me to make some other guy jealous, my second was on the verge of her third nervous breakdown and my third ended up cheating on me after being together for several years!
