Assuming you find the girl attractive, but it's very unlikely to go anywhere, and you're not trying to hit on her. Like you've been friends for a long time, or you're both taken or whatever. Are you still checking her out regularly and thinking about how she looks throughout the conversation? What are you actually thinking about her?

At the beginning of Terminator 2, Arnold has come through time, and arrives naked. He goes into a biker bar in search of clothes, and he starts scanning around the room, evaluating the people and looking for a likely match. He finds a guy, and takes a closer look, and we switch to his cyborg viewpoint, and we see him scanning the guy in detail, measuring different areas of his body, and confirming a match. That's a great visualization of what virtually every guy does to EVERY attractive girl. Our brains automatically scan and mentally undress every girl we find attractive.

But, in most cases, once that's done and we have that image stored in our brain, we mentaly move on. Now, if we're hanging out with a girl and her cleavage is out or she's wearing yoga pants, then we're going to be doing some more looking and enjoying the view.

You also need to understand, though, that most men don't have platonic, attractive female "friends", unless we are already in a successful, healthy relationship. If the guy is single, and you are at all attractive to him, then he is not platonic, even if you are. He might not want a relationship with you, but he definitely wants inside your pants, and him being your "friend" is just him biding his time and looking for cracks in your armor.

Depends on the situation. If we’re actually friends, i probably know her “looks”. If there’s a change, i might notice. If i notice, i’m going to bring it up. It’s no different than a friendship with a guy though. Guy or girl, just try and show up to my house for a cookout and a movie dressed and made up like you’re going to a wedding. This is a very good question. Well, I have never faced such a situation but yes if I had a female acquaintance who was beautiful, gorgeous then I would be genuinely concerned about her well being, like I mean in general like how she is doing in life and if things are alright or not.

Basically let's say we are talking about something serious like building a 10 story house in minecraft. Whilst discussing the tactics and the plan, when I look at her face my brain will automatically say to me " damn she fine !" But then I won't really ponder over it because we are busy with something important. And my brain will wonder if again.
