He's not using you. He just needs you as his aid and partner. I often help my boyfriend with English assignments because he suck at it. And I do all his eng. ass. But He also does things for me so it's not like I'm the only one doing things.

So if you feel like you're the only one doing things like he's not helping you or doing anything to make your life easier, then he's probably just as you accused him to be. But in your question, it doesn't seem like he's been using you. Just need a hand. Would you rather have him ask for help from another person?
