Do you think the guy has poor customer service. After the he answered a question- customer said "thank you... thank you" he quickly hanged up?

Thanked him for answering their question.

Even if they didn't have more questions (which he could only assume without be sure) is it polite to hang up after being thanked for answering a question?

Need more info , sometimes the customers tone can be as such that representative might feel their job was done as one says thank you at end of conversation.

If the customer had more questions , he would have asked all of them and then said thankyou.

I believed that one said thank you once a particular task was completed completely.

Could be... I'm still accustomed to assistants asking "is there anything else"... I think he was impatient or wasn't trained that way or doesn't care. 😂 the woman I spoke to the day before was much more polite.

Maybe not but different kinds of people work in those types of jobs and he may have just been awkward/ possibly autistic.
