Why does he keep having me confess my feelings for him if he won't admit to having them too?

This guy and I have been friends for a while and we got really close recently. We talk all the time and hang out when we can. He knows I have feelings for him since I basically told him. He never rejected me and he keeps asking questions that make me reiterated I have feelings for him. He has never denied of admitted to having feelings for me but I find it weird he keeps wanting me to say it. What does this mean?

He either needs an ego boost, or he’s on the fence about pursuing something further with you and he needs motivation. A woman’s desire is great motivation. He may have reservations about pursuing a relationship, generally (with any girl); or he may have reservations about you, specifically. In any case, if he keeps asking you to reiterate that you like him, then he needs to hear it for some reason. . . whether it be for ego or persuasive purposes.

It sounds like this guy is a little controlling and expectations are one-sided. You are exactly right in your concerns. If he really loved you then he would realize how insecure he is making you. And he would fix that... I would anyway.

I think he like the power over you that he now posses. I would make some demands of him but he might back away as punishment. It is a tough situation and really unfair to you. Good luck with him !!
