How to help him?

I have an older brother. He was interested in a girl and things were looking well for him. But then she ended things and it really hurt him. I know few girls who were interested in him and one my friend wants him. But he looks so uninterested. He doesn't want to hear about dating and stuff. He doent smile that often and acts like he doesn't care about anything. He just hangs out with friends and all they do is drinking and watching soccer. I know he is hurt but he has more opportnuties.

Time will heal this. In the meantime, be yourself. Seriously. He needs the consistency of who you are as his sibling. Be thoughtful. Don't go out of your way to baby him or do stuff for him. Help your parents and him maintain his routine: consistency and normalcy are good for him. Know this: while he may be a jerk about it act like he doesn't notice, he'll notice when you do nice stuff. Like one day you make his favorite dessert. Or you let him ride shotgun one night when you normally steal it. Again, it's the little things. Those plus time.

And you are an AWESOME sister to think of him.

Get them to run into one another, well that particular friend. And make it seem like a surprise. And see where things go from there. Maybe they catch fire. Then y'all can have a inside joke if they start dating. >.> can see how long it take the brother to see the breadcrumbs. So long as you are genuine about wanting to help him I don't see the problem hooking up your brother. Just be mentally ready if said friend becomes a in law sibling >~> is my only word of caution. XD.
