My guy friend has been a lot more touchy feely lately…poking and teasing me, is it attraction or something more?

We’ve been friends a long time and at one point he confessed to a friend he liked me and then I admitted it. Neither one of us took the next step to commit and 20 years later, things have changed. He’s been more touchy feely than before. He comes from behind and pokes me in my waist or ribs. If we sit on the couch together we both move closer to each other or he makes the move and rests his arm against mine, he rests his leg against my leg. Mostly he’s been putting his feet under my thigh. I catch him multiple times looking at me with a gaze in his eyes and I look over and smile at him. We do have intimate conversations and he told me he knows when I’m aroused by him. If anyone asks about us he says we are just friends but why do all this? Our friends notice him checking me out or his eyes wandering up and down my body or he gets jealous if one of our friends (a guy) talks to me. I feel something between us but not sure who should make the next move or just let it happen gradually. We treasure our friendship but does he look at me more than a friend but is afraid to take the next step? Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I maybe over thinking but he gets quiet with me, the other friend notices his body language towards him he becomes protective of me and the friend brushes off since he has a girlfriend.

No sorry for the confusion, the one with the girlfriend was talking to us and he had noticed the guy I like had become jealous, since we were joking in general.
