My guy friend seems to be getting more and more flirty with me?

We met on bumble about a year ago but i friendzoned him because i thought he was great but because i wasn't over my ex I was at a stage where I only found my ex attractive (blindsided break ups fuck you up, im telling you). Anyway, we got along great. He did really try in the beginning to get with me/date me but after I told him about my ex, he seemed kinda bummed I friendzoned him so quickly but understood and we've spoken almost everyday and been each others friend. he's dated other people and so have I since. And the thought of him and i dating was icky bc we were friends and apparently im not his type. But ever since I got over my ex and let my guard down things seem a lot more flirtier. He keeps flirting with me and telling me he loves me at the most random times. Before it was more bro energy but now it seems like the dynamic has shifted. Opinions?
