Why is my guy friend suddenly touchy feely?

I have known this guy for many years but recently have become good friends and I know he cares about my life. We’ve had serious conversations and he has asked me what I’m looking for in a man and what kind of wife I see myself being. However, he has suddenly gotten touchy-feely with me (tight long hug, touching my arm). He also flirts, but he is a flirty kind of guy (he flirts with other girls too). He checks me out and smiles a lot. He has never asked me out or called me. Could all these signs of affection just mean he is starting to really care about me just as a friend? Why would a guy suddenly start touching?

Well if a guy starts touching you. That's the biggest hint he likes you. He likes you more then a friend. And he asked you what kind of wife you want to be? And when he asked you what you want in a man he was seein if he was yo type.

He's into you. :) Or he wants to know what moisturizer or fabric softener you use and is too shy to ask.

Pretty obviously he is wanting to be more than just a friend. If he was just touch feely he wold have been that way from the start...
