I have a friends with benefits who I am very very attracted to and vise versa. Why does he not text me more so we can meet up?

My guess is one of three things:

• He's genuinely busy
• He has less interest in meeting up than you do
• He has other meet ups

There's a faint fourth possibility that's he's just such a terrible communicator/sloth that he just can't be bothered but I'm giving that much credit.


Here's the thing... he probably won't change that behavior. But, if you want to test that theory, stop texting him. See if he texts you back. It may force him to. Or, you find the unpleasant discovery that he doesn't which means he doesn't deserve you.

Yes I do realize that and that is exactly what I am doing too. Its not exactly waiting for someone better to arrive but just enjoying eachother and getting what you want. I have no intention on dating him either. Yes i would be opened to the idea but i dont want that. We are better off as friends

Personally I couldn't, I've never found it that difficult to date someone I actually like, although love is harder to find.
I never seen a need for that type of arrangement where the lines usually become blurred, I think girls are more prone to catching feelings after a while. Guys like having no strings sex on tap, but don't usually catch feelings.

Yes ofc we talk but when we are in our classes the only way to interact from across school is through texting. So him texting me hey do u wanna meet up is something i wish he did more bc now im the one who usually texts him and thats not even talking about if he is busy or not
