Why would a guy speak in a softer tone to a woman compared to everyone else?

Let me put it to you this way. One of my Business partners is female and extraordinarily talented etc. In my position, Checks, Numbers etc and Sites selections are my thing. No matter what it is when you sign checks they call that person.

All my India, Middle Eastern, and SE Asia men customers call me and rant and rave... I can cuss in multiple languages. That's what Conservative Men do... take it out on each other and then talk to the Business partner female as if she was the female AI we use for renters to engage.

It is unlikely that it is anything else than a sign of respect. It may be working into a crush or something but it is definitely a benefit for women.
