Why would a guy go from being normal around a girl to being nervous?

I've known him for about a year we work together. And in the beginning he talked to me without a problem. Now after one day we locked eyes with each other things have been weird. When he talks his voice shake's and it seems like he can barely breathe or get his words out straight his cheeks slightly turn red. He's a pretty confident guy. I noticed when he talks to other females at work he sounds nothing like that, he sounds clear and comfortable. And he's the one majority of the time trying to initiate conversation with me.

I don't know, I'd have to see how 'nervous' he actually is. This nervous thing comes up frequntly by pink users and I have trouble buying all of it. I think some of it is your heads. To listen to most pink users about 80% of all guys are so nervous we can't even form a sentence. Riiiiiiiight... 👌

I noticed the change in how he talked to me from the beginning to now and he never stutter or sounded nervous in his voice. Maybe he knows I like him but if so why is he coming to me asking me things that are so small that doesn't concern me. I know it's hard to give your opinion on this because you're not there to witness anything so I get where you're coming from.

If it seems like he is making up reasons to interact with you just keep building on that. Try not to get caught up in a singular action of his that indicates interest. Girls always look at ONE thing and declare a guy interested and it just doesn't work that way. Look for a pattern and then make a determination. You also need to make sure he knows you are interested in him too. And NO staring doesn't count. 🙄

I know I was just telling someone that I need a thousand signs before I know he really likes me I don't go off of just one or two or three things that this guy might do because that could be just how he is. Trust me I don't like jumping to conclusions. But thank u Sir for your real opinion I will keep this in mind.

The very obvious guess is that the stakes have changed.

I would very calmly bet a few dollars. The outcome has no real impact on me whether I win or lose. Confidence is easy there.
If we make it a few million? That's most people's life at stake. Suddenly what used to be a nonchalant shrug can be nervous stutters.

So one way or another, new stakes. Of course they can be an interest, romantic or otherwise, but could also be many other things. But well, usually the most obvious answer is also the right one. Usually.
