Guys, Why did my boyfriend laugh at me? What does it mean?

I told him that back in school, guys were always trying to catch a peak at my panties. I hated that. I wanted guys to like me for being brainy, and not just like me for my panties. So after some deeply thought and soul searchingly. I decided to just stop wearing panties. I got the idea from one of those cop shows. There were 8 dead bodies on the sidewalk, and the cop said: "Nothing to see here, folks, move along." Yes! Nothing to see here! That was it. I'm surprised I didn't think of that.

It was like a light-bulb in my hand that was about to go off, or whatever that saying is. My thoughts had something to do with a light-bulb, but I can't exactly remember what my thoughts said to me, because I really wasn't listening at the time.

When I told this to my boyfriend, he laughed and said I made up for it in other areas. Made up for what? Was he talking about changing a light bulb? It's not that hardly to do. It's righty lelfty, and Lucy goosey. Or something like that. You just have to keep trying to screw it until it goes into the socket.

@muskratlove... I can't tell you why your boyfriend laughed at you. He doesn't sound very smart. Everyone knows that you don't laugh at your girlfriend unless she tells a joke.

When I was in boarding school, I worked in the theater. Among the many jobs I did was working on the spot lights and the other lights. The bulbs were delicate and you couldn't get the oil from your finger tips on them -- if it did, they'd explode.

One year I was teaching one of my friends how to work on the lights. We'd had to high-key sexual tension going on between us for a while and some high wattage flirting too. I told her about not touching the light bulbs with our finger tips. She asked why. I looked her in the eye and told her not about the oil and fingertips but that it kept them cleaner for touching between the legs. We did not finish our work on the lights for some time that afternoon. But, that's okay. The afternoon was wet. We didn't want to go out in the rain.

Muskrat, I believe your boyfriend's point might have been that some lightbulbs don't screw in. One inserts them into the socket.
