He hugged me twice today, we’ve known each other since November of 2022 but only this past 2 months almost we’ve talked more and stuff, he’s in his mid 30s and I’m 24. We’re both single.

It hints that way... but it could just as easily mean that you both have formed a great rapport and tight bond. Context matters too. People your age at my church hug all the time with nothing romantic connected.

BUT... it sounds like you're building a great foundation and it definitely means you're moving forward and not back! :)

Thanks so much. I appreciate the input! I’ve known him since November of 2022 but recently since end middle of February we started talking more back and forth, he’s not my age though he is in his mid 30s and I’m 24 and he’s overall friendly but he doesn’t give everyone a nickname there I know that, and I have one from him and I haven’t seen him hug anyone else twice I’m trying to pick up on these cues.

A long hug, typically one that lasts for 5 seconds or longer, is a sign that he either has feelings for you or he really loves hugging you. When a guy hugs you for more than 5 seconds, it is an indication that he is looking for comfort and you're the one he trusts the most to provide it to him.

No worries that’s why I’m asking too lol. He gives/does these cues at time and it confuses me but also makes me happy thinking there’s that possibility ughh the struggle is so real.
