Why do guys assume that big boobs = overweight?

Because a lot of girls that are overweight and self conscious about themselves , when they are attracted to a guy , will do what she has to do to lure him in , by saying she has big tits , which she does , she isn’t lying about that , ! but she isn’t describing everything else about her , most people are self conscious about their bodies and weight etc , I feel girls’ in general , get the brunt of it more than guys do , because men are more visual then girls are , we are attracted to a girl’s beauty and the way she looks more then how a girl is attracted to a guy for his looks , she is more attracted to the emotional connection with him , and the way he presents himself and his characteristics , and traits , looks as well but not as much , I have come across very beautiful girls that had ugly ass boyfriends that make you think how the fuck did he land her lol and the same goes with girls’‘ thinking how the fuck did she land him lol , Sadly most people in general are self conscious about themselves and their image and appearance and become their own worst enemy by thinking that person won’t be attracted to me , cuz they are beautiful and I am average and think they can easily land someone way more attractive then me. So they don’t even try to pursue them , They go home and fantasize about being with that person but they didn’t have the courage to approach them , sadly a lot of people lie about themselves , thinking someone will still accept them if they lie and that’s where people are wrong , Everyone is different on what they are really attracted to , just because you think someone isn’t attractive , it doesn’t mean everyone else is going to agree , People that mainly focus on image are in for a rude awakening when they realize image really doesn’t mean shit , it does to a certain degree but the heart is what’s most important , people that focus on image more than the heart are people that will never experience true love they will experience constant failed relationships because they are selfish people , When people learn to be honest within themselves and within others they will realize not everyone is perfect and we all have flaws , we all assume the worst case scenario when it comes to liking someone , especially these days , Love comes from within ourselves not from appearance , the heart is what matters most , when you find someone that loves you for your heart , keep them at all costs cuz sadly that shit is hard to find these days , I feel social media played a big part on how we all look at each other these days , making people feel like that have to starve themselves and work out like crazy just to be accepted not realizing it’s a bunch of garbage , to make money off of people , When you learn to value Yourself worth and learn to love yourself for who you are that’s when others will notice you ,

It's fairly common - but obviously far from universal - for women with really big boobs to be heavier overall, even if they aren't "fat." For example, Christina Hendricks (Mad Men/Firefly):
She's short, and you can see from her arms that she's not fat (her stomach too, though her dress could have disguised a bit of a belly, so the arms are a better measure), but she's "thick" along with the huge boobs.
Of course that doesn't mean there aren't girls who are slender overall but have big boobs - there are, and I've met some - but that's more the exception than the rule.
Given that it's more common for girls with big boobs to be heavier, I wouldn't say that it was an unreasonable assumption/question, but hopefully those guys realize that it doesn't apply to all women, and that there are certainly girls who are skinny with even enormous boobs.
This is Lucie Wilde. Prior to her pregnancy, she was a natural 34L (European 75HH). Obviously she isn't fat in any respect, and yet had gigantic boobs. She had a reduction after her pregnancy and is now "only" a 34G.
Anyway, part of the reason you might get some men asking these questions in the first place is because women can be very good at hiding what they look like, using filters and camera angles and other tricks to tell a very different story on their profile than how they are in real life. Just where has this assumption suddenly appeared from, as I've certainly never heard of it.
Of course it does go without saying that we need to give the guys some space, certainly on subjects they have absolutely no knowledge about whatsoever!

This is the first time I hear this. This guy along with many other guys don’t assume big boobs are associated with being overweight. In fact there’s a lot of guys who look past a woman being overweight if her boobs looks good.
If anything you hear this from women, especially flat chested women. These are the women who assume this the most in order to feel good about themselves - 611 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic.
Because overweigh girls tend to have "overweight boobs" to match. It makes sense. Not that guy think all big boobs belong to big girls. Not at all. But we do think that big girls probably have big boobs (because they usually, and generally do!)

I know too many sad fat women. The sad fat where she's huge, but no tits. It's like God decided, or her fat has consciously decided that fat will not be stored anywhere near their tits.

I have rarely heard this, but I have heard it. It's only stupid guys who think that, and probably the ones who have an aversion to big breasts or feel overwhelmed or intimidated by them, so they try to put them down. Some men feel this way because they think about the size of their own dick in comparison to big breasts, and fear that a woman could have bigger boobs than their own dick.
Lots of women with big boobs are not overweight.

Because most of the breasts consists of fat. And the fatter a lady is the most likely the bigger the breasts are. BUT as it is with most things that are not always the case. Sometimes a fat lady has tiny titts and sometimes a skinny lady have bit titts

Usually big boobs = big every where. Not universally but a lot of the time. But where is this assumption being made?
Normally we'd just look at you and decide if you look overweight. If it is some form of social media and there is just a pic of your breasts like above then I guess we wouldn't any option but infer from other clues. Like your arms/shoulder in the pic and possibly the waist band at the bottom.

Because if it's not true now, it's going to be eventually. Big boobs have extra weight, so they make it harder to run. And people who don't work out and exercise get fat.
This is especially true of short women who have big boobs. They always turn out roly-poly by the time they reach their 40s or at least 50s.

I think it's MUCH more common for girls to say that. I remember once hanging out with a group and a couple of the guys were talking about how this girl who wasn't there was insanely hot. And a girl in the group goes, "Joanna? What? She's FAT!" And all the guys were like "she most certainly is not!" She was basically a unicorn with HUGE naturals on a tiny, fit frame. Awesome!

Massivity can just create visual assumptions simce typically no skinny girl keeps the big titties. But the thiccer girl typically makes her titties grow. Just a general assumption in the brain. I do it all the time still.

Ill take the heat for this one, having a favorable fat distribution doesn't exclude you from the overweight label. Also, gaining weight means bigger field artillery, losing weight drops it proportionally. Its only natural to make that assumption.
