Lol I agreed with you until you mentioned "you arnt that kind of girl to be hooking up with someone you're not in a relationship with."
I have no clue what this guy is on. Maybe he sees something good in you, doesn't want to hurt your feelings by letting you down BUT he will encourage you to move on from him. He knows you're better than he is. He knows he's not capable to treat you how you want.
What does that have to do with why he’s giving me financial advice and stuff?
Becauae he sees you lacking and wants to help
Because he realizes that you can't fuck your way to prosperity.
