Help ,, I Don't understand him anymore ,, is he using me?

i was dating someone for 3 months we were great but when i asked him if we could move forward and be official he disappeared 2 months later we spoke and he was hot and cold i got tired because i am not a backup plan so i broke up for last ,,1 month later he posted story about breakup and told common friends he loves me i told him to ignore me ,, he disappeared for 1 month from social media and today he appeared he posted this a qoute about forgiveness of a person who is not sorry ,,, i don't know what he wants i loved him but i think he is narcissistic and only misses his ego bosster ,, or does he love me and am wrong?

Same thing happened to me, a boy who never loved me and My friends said that he never did too, wrote in his status that he loved me and that I'm the one who didn't have feelings for him.. even though he treated me badly but here's some reasons why:
1- he is playing the victim.

2- he wants you to come back so he says he loves you (even though he doesn't).

3- he didn't realize what he had until he lost it and in that case he might think about the good things you did and he might miss you and feel like he loves you ( false emotions) but once you come back, he will feel like he doesn't love you and will treat you bad all over again.

4- his ego is damaged so he needs you back to boost it.

he after the second broke up after i told him i don't want him acts like a victim and am the evil one although i did nothing all i want was him to show me that he loved me and fight for me for once..
shoulf i block him or act as i don't care and share comics as his existence doest affect me

Same thing then he played the victim and he said that I did the things that he did to me and switched up positions ... Anyways if you want to keep him updated about your life, show him that you're happy, becoming better then don't block him.. but if you don't want him to know anything about your life and get rid of him for good, block him... I didn't block the guy who did this to me to show him that I could become better through my status and he didn't even delete my number
