I just don't get that be still "cares" about how my life is different from his life.

It’s not about ending up together or even really caring on that level, I just think he’s equating your introversion with living a dull, wasteful life, which is such a negative assumption. People like that keep urging you to go out and do things, but need to respect you are content how you are. Not everyone wants his lifestyle.

No worries! If I were you I’d ask him to stop bringing that up. You don’t need a lecture on life or how to live it. You’re perfectly capable of going out and doing more outdoorsy things but that not what you’re interested in.
