Why don’t a coworker asks me out?

I am shy and I clam up when my older work crush talks to me one on one. He’s old enough to be daddy.
I clam up lol. When my coworker (female) is there I manage to be a bit sassy and more verbal and playful. When he’s with me alone which is most of the time I just make playful faces and I talk when spoken to but I’m really shy and barely have words to say. :P

but I want him to ask me out. He’s taking too long.

he has smiled while licking eyes with me across the room before. We have locked eyes before other than that too.

If you are indeed in the age group 30-35 (which I doubt), then he would be well into his fifties and that is the age of the midlife crisis.

He is obviously only interested in copulating with you and not really to ask you out on a date. He is simply trying to butter you up so that you will accept to fornicate with him.

Once he has achieved what he is seeking, you will be dropped like a hot potato and feel totally misused and dirty.

Believe me, you are much better off that this guy does not ask you out.

By law, even so much a comment on someone's (mostly women) appearance is legally defined as sexual harassment. You cannot even tell a woman if she's beautiful especially if she didn't ask for it.
