Why is it so hard to try to ask someone out at their work place?

Like people ask people out or flirt at their job when they’re out like at restaurants, stores. etc like some people do it but I don't know how they do it, it looks impossible cuz they’re working so why would they bother talking to you about anything other than Being customer service? Explain Plss

Hey, I really love my job... most of the time. But just because I do actually like it, does not mean I want to be there either. It is still a job at the end of the day.

Personally, social situations not involving anyone on the clock is the best time to ask someone out. People at generally more relaxed then.

Sometimes that can get one fired. At the very least it is uncomfortable and work peers can figure out what is going on.
