Is it a turn off for guys if the girl texts first more than twice?

I really enjoyed chatting with a guy friend (and he told me that he's happy that im chatting with him and that he considers me as a sister to him although he told me that im beautiful) we chatted for 2 days ( I started it ) but then I stopped to see if he's gonna text me first to see if he really enjoys chatting with me but he didn't , so it seems he's not interested in me , and he didn't even add me to his contacts

I don't think it's a turn off. I'll be frank, though, the "I stopped to see if he's gonna text me first to see if he really enjoys chatting with me" is a turn off. Just keep texting and chatting and let the conversation move. He may have stopped because you did, not because he didn't like you. Or he didn't want to seem clingy. Or needy. Now, if it's been weeks maybe he's not interested. But only a day or two, I don't think that's it. Here's the thing: if you enjoy talking to him, then message him. Don't play games.

That speaks really highly of you! And, if you're really concerned about it, then I recommend addressing it. Say something like, "hey, I like to chat -- if it ever annoys you, please tell me" and then move forward like that.

These games about pretending not to be interested are for kids. (Which you seem to be so okay whatever).

Adults don't do this. It's impossible to know a person from the fact that didn't text for a little bit. Or didn't respond in the first 15 sexonds, or whatever. It's extremely subjective, and basically useless as a measuring stick for interest.

It's not a turn off but because you stopped texting him suddenly he may of thought he said something to offend you or that you'd lost interest in chatting with him. If he felt like that I doubt he will initiate texting you. You started it and you need to continue it if you want to chat with him. He may eventually feel comfortable initiating a chat.
