I have had this guy a few months ago say that we can watch this movie together sometime if I wanted but I told him I can’t find it anywhere (literally tried beforehand and still couldn’t find it) so the other day he made another comment about working out together and getting a couples discount but like I’m not sure if he is asking me on a date because before he said this I was telling him that I don’t have friends to go hang with so like my thoughts are he was just trying to be nice and also after this conversation he proceeded to tell me he loves watching Netflix which makes me think he might want a hook up. He’s also never asked for my number or anything

Because he likes Netflix that means he wants to hookup. That's absurd. Making assumptions and jumping to conclusions are an easy to ruin anything. How maybe talk to him some more, maybe ask him to do something.
