Why do strangers call me fat in public?

A numerous amount of strangers (men) like to call me fat or “big girl” in the streets. Are they trying to get my attention?

It’s so annoying because I don’t know any of these men. It makes me feel very depress everytime I think about it and remember past experiences like this. There even been 3x where people have asked me if I was pregnant. How dare they!

I’m sorry if this seems rude but you must be really overweight if every time you go out you overhear someone call you fat. To make these harsh comments go away you have three options.

1) Ignore them

2) Talk back to the person calling you fat and shut there comments down

3) lose weight

Those are the only options that I could come up with. I hope you get through these comments and have better memories when you go out in public!

I'm sorry to hear that. Some people can't keep comments to themselves. If you are happy with how you look then don't let those comments get you down but if you aren't happy you should do something about it. It all depends on how you view yourself and the goal is to just be healthy so if you're at that point then don't let other people get to you

Yes! I can’t believe it neither. It happens every time I’m walking usually with my friends or sisters. A man walking by or a guy in a car will yell it across the street. That’s why I don't know if they say it to get my attention or as childish pick up line
