It was because i am shy and get nervous in her presence

Feelings so deep for that girl that they are uncontrollable and hence nervous

I do it often subconsciously because to adjust my hair when they fall on my face. Although it has happened quite a few times that I accidentally did while looking at a girl and I can see how it can be interpreted as a sign of interest. That being said, yes, guys at times also do it to look good in front of the girls to get their attention but not always so.

I am not always aware if a girl is looking at me. But I know this that girls are more subtle to look at a guy and away xD. But when I randomly adjust them, I have caught girls looking at me adjusting it and then later as well.

And I do it when I feel the need to do it, when it gets a little uncomfortable having them falling on my face. I don't care much who's looking at me and who am I looking at while adjusting them.
