Why do guys chase me after dumping and rejecting me?

I’ve experienced this with a few guys almost nearly every guy I dealt with in a bad way. I had two guys rejected me years to months ago and they are both still curious to know what I’m doing. I’ve been around tons of other men and these two guys are still hooked on me. I don’t even find them attractive anymore like I did before. My ex last year dumped me and for 10 months every month he attempts to contact me. I made it clear I want nothing to do with him but he’s still contacting me. My ex this year dumped me but keeps contacting me but not as much as he did when we were together.

Honestly, that’s aggravating and I don’t know why that kind of shit happened with dudes doing that because keep the same energy and judgement the same way instead of chasing you as the same person they rejected once they see someone anew who wants you for you.
