I’ve been with my boyfriend for about a year and when we go out together he’s always looking and glancing over at attractive women in public. The other day we drove past a sex shop and on the front of the shop was basically posters of naked women with huge boobs. My boyfriend literally stopped talking to me to stare at these posters for a little too long and it hurt me too much. I started comparing myself to these airbrushed naked women on the poster and feeling rubbish about how I look. I’ve confronted him about his staring and he said he’s just observing and “people watching” to see what outfits the girls are wearing
Why do I feel this way, and is it normal for guys in committed relationships to stare at other women?
