I cannot understand him?

There is a boy who likes me... I haven't met him personally due to our different schedules... but whenever he sees me he always checks me out continuously. Till now I have known about his personality that he is a studious person... but whenever I message him... he messages me very late like sometimes from 2hrs to 20hrs... which always make me question about his feelings towards me. And yes whenever he chats with me... its always very active one... Please help me with this situation...
