We used to be very close and we teased each other all the time. Our banters were highly sexual sometimes. He was the one starting it, and doing it all the time. All of a sudden he stopped. We are still very close, he confides in me, but our talks are about more serious stuff. We never fool around anymore. I try to provoke his reactions but he never answers them.
Once I accidentally said something that was understood as an innuendo by other guys, but he just looked at me (he thought of it the same as others did) but said nothing. Others commented that it was the first time he's left speechless and they laughed about it.
I also noticed he never looks me in the eyes like he used to. And if he does, he blushes like hell.
What is going on with him? I miss his goofy self.

It's difficult to say for sure what may be going on with your friend, as there could be a number of reasons why he has stopped bantering with you and has become more reserved in your conversations.
One possibility is that he may have realized that his previous behavior was inappropriate or that it was making you uncomfortable, and has decided to change his behavior in order to be more respectful of your boundaries. Alternatively, he may be going through personal issues or changes in his life that have caused him to become more serious or withdrawn.
If you're feeling concerned or confused about his behavior, it may be helpful to try talking to him directly and asking him if there is anything going on that is causing him to act differently. Be honest and open about how you feel, and try to listen to his perspective without judgment or defensiveness.
Remember that it's important to respect each other's boundaries and to communicate openly and honestly in any relationship, whether it's platonic or romantic. If you're not comfortable with his behavior, it's okay to let him know and to take steps to protect your own emotional well-being.
It's hard to say for sure what's going on with him, as there could be a variety of reasons why he's not responding to your bantering anymore. It's possible that he's become more serious about your relationship and wants to move away from sexual banter. Alternatively, he might be feeling uncomfortable or unsure about continuing that kind of behavior, or he might be going through something personal that's causing him to change his behavior. It's important to talk to him directly and ask him what's going on. Express that you've noticed the change in behavior and you miss his goofy self, and see how he responds. Try to have an open and honest conversation to clear the air and get to the root of the issue.
