Do men take longer to express their feelings? And if the guy is used to women throwing themselves at the guy will be hesitant until he knows the the female genuinely likes him?

The last time I expressed my vulnerabilities and my genuine feelings to a woman I actually was into and cared about, she later weaponized them as a way to "get back at me" when she was pissed at me over something. Sue completely lost my trust at that point, and I learned from that time on that it's a terrible idea to express your vulnerable side to a woman you're with. The moment she did that, whatever was between us was gone. It was over.

Most men at some point in their lives have had their deepest vulnerabilities, their fears, personal stuff like that, used against them by a woman they thought they could trust with those deep and personal things that they don't even share with their best friends. Men who are wise and have been around the block once or twice know better than to express their vulnerabilities and feelings to their woman. Don't expect him to open up. Just saying.

He probably doesn't express his emotions and vulnerabilities because he more than likely has had those things weaponized against him by a previous partner. So why would he make the same mistake twice?
