Why do guys sometimes have a more difficult time expressing their feelings than we do?

My boyfriend will sometimes just remain quiet when I ask him what he thinks or how he feels. Why do guys have difficult time expressing feelings? It is just pretty easy for me, but not for most guys and certainly not for my boyfriend.

Because not everything evokes an emotional response. Expecting men to have an emotional response to everything is like expecting females to be logical on everything. Newsflash men and women are different.

It is not that we have a hard time expressing out thoughts and feelings. It is that we express them different than women. Women use a lot more words to express their emotions. Men tend to use a lot more action … hence why when women deny their men intimacy it is as if you are telling him you don’t love as much anymore or at all. That is how men’s brains work. We will ‘do’ for you far more than ‘say’ for you. Women do most of the talking…. Just how it is … and no, buying jewelry isn’t the sole way men show love. Hell, taking out the trash can be a sign. Which, when men get nagged to do things around the house, it is on par in our brains that you want us to constantly prove we love you or for use to demonstrate that we really love you. It would be the same as your guy bothering you all the time for you to tell him that you love him. Which I know can be a drag for women.


Anyway, there is a reason some men prefer to remain single or single and just have a dog around. It has a lot to do with enjoying our, “Peace”.
