Men are fine if you want to be alone - just make sure you don't complain when you are older that you can't find a man. That's really the issue - lots of women hit their 40s and realize they desperately want a man, and they wonder why the men that were never good enough for her before no longer want her when she's older. As long as you understand WHY men won't want you later on, and you don't complain about it, men are fine if you don't want to be with a man, and you want to be "strong and independent."

If you are talking about male influencers who tell women they will die alone with cats, then I think those men will be fine and have lots of women wanting to date them. . . because they are influencers. And I think lots of bad men do well with women because they are ohysically attractive or famous or confident.

If you are talking about a guy who is already a loser saying these things, it probably comes from a place of bitterness, because women already rejected him, so he feels like he has nothing to lose.
