Is he afraid to date me?

Am a medical doctor by proffession, now i recently mate this amazing guy he works inside the mine, our engergies really matched... As time went by i discovered he wasn't much into texting or calling... I gave him some time to prove me wrong but still his communication style wasn't settling well with me. His a guy that i would plan to hang out with then he ends up not showing up or ends up not even communicating whether he would make it or not. I did talk to him about his lack of communication he apologised and understood were i came from. After sometime now his still back on his lack of communication behavior this time its even worse... He can go a whole week without saying hello, yet once i put something on my status he will always comment... Now am failing to understand this guy.. My friends keep telling that maybe his afraid of my proffession thinking i might be too high maintainance... Others think maybe his too slow... Others think I need to sit him down and tell him how i feel. But i personally feel his not that into me... So now am stuck. I dont know what to do.. 😢

If someone flakes on a date for no legitimate reason. They’re not worth your time. Shit happens and sometimes I understand if something happens.

I don’t know. See what happens obviously you’re showing interest. Sometimes it can be intimidating the first few dates with someone especially if they seem “out of your league” but. Time will tell if it will work or not.

This type of behavior reminds me a lot of my boyfriend and how it used to bother me a lot in the beginning to the point we almost broke up. The difference is that my boyfriend would always show up and even though he's a terrible texter when we meet he's always so interesting to be around and we always have interesting stuff to talk about. Sometimes because of our busy lives we can go one or two days without texting and honestly I'm okay with it right now. I had to sit with him and express how I was feeling and make him understand that if we both didn't put any effort then there's no point in seeing each other anymore. Both me and him had to adapt to each other's needs and we're doing really good now we have a great bond. I suggest you do the same but if you don't see him putting any effort and changing his ways then is best if you don't waste your time and energy on this guy.
