My boyfriend doesn’t like when I kiss him with lipstick on? is that normal?

My boyfriend HATES when I kiss him with anything on my lips, I’ve asked why multiple times and he says he just doesn’t want to look like a girl. Is this normal? Or I am one of the girls who wears makeup normally so I ideally always have something of color on my lips? Should I just stop wearing lipstick and lipgloss. When he met me I didn’t wear makeup as I was younger, but in the last 4 years of dating me I’ve started wearing makeup. What do I do?

We just don't want lipstick on us. If you can find a way to kiss us without getting it on us, that's fine. I prefer gloss on her, though

Totally get this and I switched to transfer proof lipstick afterwords and he still won’t kiss me.

Can you get him to explain why he feels like even with no transfer lipstick, he still doesn't want it. It seems silly he's this adamant about not kissing you with lipstick on, especially after you've already told him it won't come off.

Lipstick especially glossy stuff can feel a bit tacky. Bare lips are more pleasant to kiss.
Maybe wear something thinner.

Can't blame a straight man for not wanting lipstick on them, mostly in a world people can claim whatever they want to be, I'd say if it's not a big deal to you, don't wear the lipstick, after all natural lips are always the best, it doesn't mean you have to stop wearing makeup in general.

Get that 100% I do use transfer proof lipstick and i do have most matte finish lipsticks so their not glossy. I don’t wear extremely bright colors just a pop of color.

Lip gloss is sticky, but if he still doesn't like you wearing lipstick (even transfer proof) that's a different thing. You should be free to do whatever makes you happy in order to be a happy girlfriend as well.

That is so normal, i am the same way. i think lipstick is disgusting and when i kiss someone it tastes bad. its unnatural and not attractive.
