Found a lipstick in our desk drawer?

So I was looking randomly for something in the desk drawer in our bedroom. I found this gold looking bullet thing, and it was a lipstick. I asked my SO why he had it, he said he found it in our building on the floor. I don't know how to feel. One part of me is like if he was doing something shady why would he bring it in the house. The other part of me is like why are you so stupid. What do you all think?

You need to look for more clues about this before you do anything rash. You know some people are like birds, they collect things, useless things. But it could be the other thing too. Question is how well you know the guy.

Either you turn on paranoid-mode and go looking or you talk him over to make him understand how it looks and then you both try to move on ahead.
The first is very bad for the relationship and your mental health and the second might not be possible. Either way it's hard having doubts and most of all it's dangerous because trust is essential and so fragile.

If by "gold looking bullet thing" you mean it was lipstick made to look like a rifle cartridge, then there's nothing suspicious about a dude picking that up and keeping it.
It's not like he wants the lipstick, it's just a cool item to have

Who brings a lipstick they find on the floor home? Let's say he wasn't cheating and he did find it, why? What were his intentions with it? That's got sus written all over it lol

He had someone over and when he noticed she left a lipstick behind, he just put it in the drawer and forgot it was there. Could've been a hookup or it could've been a prostitute.

Or he is a cross dresser.

Up to you what to do about it. My suggestion is pretend you want to do kinky sex where you tie him up, but then don't do the sex and just waterboard him until he spills the beans.

yup, i thought same thing. Why would you ever think its okay to pick up the lipstick on the floor.

And why would he keep it? Maybe it's not from while you were together, but it probably has some meaning to him if he kept it in his bedroom drawer.

i honestly think its recent. We've moved twice and I do the packing so I have never seen it or owned a Gucci lipstick, which looks in decent condition.
