Why did my boyfriend put my birthday for his birthday on snap?

So I am not allowed to have snap but my boyfriend is. My friend is friends with him, and she noticed that on Snapchat his birthday was the same as mine. I told her that that wasn’t his birthday, so we were confused as to why he put it as his even though it’s mine. I don’t think it’s suspicious I’m just wondering why he did this. Can’t really ask him bc he’d know I’m stalking his social media lmaooo.

Why agree to such a ridiculous dynamic? I know social media glorifies toxicity but there’s nothing cute about being controlled. No way he should be able to have a Snapchat and you “can’t”. That’s how you stop being able to even ask questions and get secretly cheated on.

Ohhh okay, you might wanna update your question to clarify, bc the first sentence reads like he doesn’t allow you to have snap and he can lol. Anyway I purposely didn’t answer about the bday thing though bc I’m not sure how accurate my take is. I’m not super savvy with the app but I know my best friend has 2 snapchats, one with her birthday and the other using her daughters. She’s on and off with a guy who watches her snap score, so she told him she made a new snap like a year ago but now uses both lol. Not saying ur boyfriend is doing that, it’s just the only instance I can think of with that scenario.
