Boyfriend forgot my birthday TWICE?

last year he forgot too and it's not like I don't remind him because I do all the time before hand and I don't get it cause i rush to be the first to tell him Happy Birthday but he always forgets mine. Literally we haven't seen each other in a few days and he hasn't text me all day. But I'm use to it so I'm not even sad is that bad? He always remembers his friends birthdays!! I'm just annoyed.. would it be petty to break up with him over this?

IT DEPENDS LIKE HE MAY HAVE A LOT OF THINGS ON THAT MAY BE THE REASON OR HE HAS A BAD MEMORY WE GUYS USA LLYSFAEN DON'T CARE MUCH ABOUT BIRTHDAYS AND ALL . I OFTEN FORGET MY PARENTS BIRTHDAYS UNTIL I LOOK IT UP ON FACEBOOK AND REMEMBER

it would be Petty at least in my opinion bc guys have a lot going on and they tend not to remember everything single thing. But on the other hand he shouldn't have forgotten 2 years in a row that is just pathetic

If you're used to him neglecting you, then that's a red flag. This seems like it goes further than him forgetting your birthday. Please stop wasting your time and break up with him.

thats not good but really this depends how many years your relationship is but i constantly forget my friends b day i think im horrible but its a tually not that bad

Yeah, you and me are in the same situation. My girlfriend couldn't even remember my BDay. I've never once missed hers. I'm not going to break up with her over it, but it does bug me.
