He withdraws every time he deals with a personal issue?

I'm tired...

He withdraws every time whenever there is something going on in his life besides our relationship.

The problem is he acts awful about it... and is making me believe that I'm the issue.

Do you think that I should leave this relationship?

he is withdrawing because he doesn't want to project his hurt and issues on to you so he'd rather just step away. who knows what would happen if he didn't. i see where you're coming from, but the reason why people withdraw is to not bring you into their issues also. you guys need to open up your communication more. what if the issue is something you can help him with? relationships are supposed to be working as a team. it is wrong of him to leave you in the dark for sure.

He may just be a deeply private person. Many men keep their personal issues to themselves, growing up you learn you have to or people don’t respect you. If it doesn’t involve you directly, why does it upset you?
