How do you cope with the loneliness after breaking up?

As title says how do you girls n guys cope with the loneliness? I mean I keep myself busy through the day somehow but whenever I see something cool or whatever I'm like I need to tell her and then it kinda sets in right I can't and well that kinda kills every fun I do for the rest of the day.
So what's your take on not feel so lonely in these kind of situations?
