Flirting, or being nice?

I went out to the store today and got some wine and a tall boy bud light. And the cashier rung me up, he tried scanning my ID then he's like "i should probably ring it up first" lol and he looked at my ID and he was joking around "you got identification or not?" Then he kept saying it and I kept saying yes lol. Then he said is the "tall boy for him or you?" And I said it was for my friend.

Whenever I go there he always greets me as with anyone else. I normally use the self check out and he comes over to ask if I'm doing okay with everything. Or maybe he's being nice? I don't know I rarely get flirted with.

He is being flirty. If you like him back and you dont have a boyfriend. Do the following:

Go to the store to buy stuff (as usual), if there is noone around (you dont wanna put him in the spotlight) and if he starts flirting again, then look at him with confidence and little smirk and ask: "So, when will you ask me out for a date?" If he dont wanna take you out then think like "whatever" and move on... just... No one ever fell in love without being a little bit brave. :)
