Why didn’t my ex offer me closure?

Yeah, I get that I’m not owed anything me and closure is something that you give yourself but throughout the relationship I gave and gave with very little poured back into my cup. I consistently made sure his needs were met just for me to find out he was on dating sites and I caught him by having a friend make a fake profile, he video chats and gets caught. He never personally went back and apologized to me in spite of everything. I never got a word, no sorry, no nothing. Communication just stopped there with no reaching out from him. Thing is I gave him multiple chances to leave me and he never took them in the Relationship. Wasn’t satisfied with me obviously but didn’t want to let me go, would literally beg for me to stay but wanted to be on dating sites. Why would a dude be like this?

Because you have no self respect, and allowed him to act that way towards you. I'm pretty sure he showed you who he was very early in the relationship. You chose to look the other way for reasons known only to you. He's a fuckhead and always has been. So you think he will now feel bad and give you closure? Come on, get real. He is staying consistent, being an asshole.


Side note. I will never understand women who cry about 'giving him chances to break up'... why can't YOU just break up? Seems like the thing to do when you are treated like shit.
