He left the job where she was because he had an urgent exam to give for his higher studies and wasn't able to focus on his studies due to his hectic schedule at work. They didn't have sex I know that but there were late night calls, romantic and dirty talk, flirting, and I'm pretty sure there was touching involved. He would change his whole schedule just to see her.

It's been 3 months since he left but he still stalks her social media?

he's a drug addict stuck on the fantasy of her, which may even be worse that reality. He needs to realize what a pathetic scoundrel of worthless pond scum she is. I mean that in a godly way of course.

he needs to wake up and smell the coffee that it's a human. She needs to be devalued and you need to be raised in esteem. In relationship that is work because we are close and we see each others imperfections.

It's mental work on his part... I'd say therapy, which he could do on his own, but it's effort to think and change.
