He has repeatedly told me to be only his’ (in a sexual way). his actions express concern and care, like driving miles to safely take me home when car broke, worrying when I’m sick and so on but denies his own actions by words.

You already said it: one guy is an ex. And you had sex with him although the sex isn't relevant. The other guy is someone you have some dates with.
