OK so I matched with a coworker on Tinder a while back. We were talking on there, and eventually switched over to texting. Sometimes he does this thing where he disappears for a couple of days and won’t say anything to me at all. And then he’ll reply back days later, and say he wasn’t trying to ignore me or ghost me and it’s nothing against me. He does have some mental illness and does suffer from severe anxiety and stays in his head a lot. I’m not sure how to deal with this or what to do so that’s why I’m asking you all.
Does it bother you?
If so, what do you need to feel better? Would him giving you a heads up he's going silent be good?
Also, it's valid to leave if you don't feel like how he manages his episodes (going silent) meshes with what you need from a partner.
Sometimes it isn't a fit, and especially for someone with depression they NEED to manage it well to thrive and be a good partner.

Tinder + Texting?
Well, this going to go nowhere fast.
Maybe you can try to encourage him or try to learn the reasons first.
My father told me to never date a coworker. It was excellent advice.
