What does it mean when he wants to spend the night but does not want to have sex?

Before you guy say he needs a place to stay. He doesn’t he has his own place and its bigger than mine. He actually came over to sleep in my bed which is smaller than his king. Why would he want to stay over and not have sex.

What makes you think he didn't want to? He may have been too tired or intoxicated, or may have wanted to but realized that one or both of you wasn't psychologically ready yet. He may also have wanted to snuggle together, and/or get to know you better first.

Sex is a big thing; it's good to not rush into it before you're mentally prepared.

There are a lot of causes but maybe he was just very tired or even depresive, maybe he just wanted to be with you because he loves you and enjoys your company. Its something like being his safe space. Maybe he just told you he needs a place to stay because wanted a escuse to be with you.
