I’m probably overreacting but I’m an overthinker. I’ve been talking to this guys for about a week and a half now. Things seem to be going great. We started out texting all the time for the first week and even a few days after our first date. He responds really fat. He told me I’ve done things for him already than no other woman ever has. I’m a little surprised but he even asked me if I’d be able to watch his dogs and stay at his house next weekend while he’s out of town on a trip with some guy friends. We don’t have set plans yet of when we’re going to see each other next. The texting has gone down a lot but I still get some here and there. Could he be losing interest or do you think he’s just feeling more comfortable and knows I’m into him and is easing off the “trying to get me hooked”

Sounds red flagish. Why is he trusting you at his house alone when you have met a week and a half ago and his language is less sincere? Sounds like a plot for something weird to go on. I wouldn’t trust any of this

I still wouldn’t trust someone to watch my house even meeting them from a mutual friend after a week. It seems odd. I’d reject that offer and see if he holds any substance aside from that

I’d be hesitant too. He offered to pay me too. I’ve been in his house once for a few min but that was it. I mean I guess it’s no different than going on one of those pet sitting websites and having some stranger come to your home watching your animals.
