Ok so do you think that it was rude that he ignored my second message and does it mean he doesn’t want to be my friend or hang out

So we’ve messaged before a few times and he always replied so I thought we were friends

And my friend told me he quit so I messaged him asking if he quit and he replied huh who said I quit? And I told my friend did and he replied I’m about to quit
